As we enter the Thanksgiving Holiday, I am reminded about how fast the school year has gone so far and all the wonderful things we have been able to take part in...we've started the Backpack Buddies Program to run each and every week, a Custodian Appreciation Week, the 3rd Annual Fun Run with a Pep Rally & Awards Ceremony, the Scholastic Fall Book Fair, the Fun Run $100+ Pizza Party, and helped with a very successful Principles Education Summit. Phew, it's been busy here at the Lake!!

Creative Play Class - Families with children 3-5 years of age: The Eastern Region Ready to Learn Center will have a Creative Play class here at Lake Myra on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am. We want to thank our wonderful parent volunteers who brought food to the recent Principal's Education Summit!! It was absolutely lovely having all that food and the meeting was great success for all involved!!
